This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
The rainbow of color in cool swirly lines on a solid block of light color makes it look so pretty. I love it!! >w< The swirly lines flow really well with her hair. I think you pulled of the theme with gusto! +fav
I think the idea ended (more or less) successful.
If I hadn't read your comment above, I wouldn't have expected that the hair changes in the background and the character is being absorbed...Maybe the focus is too lowly on that...Don't know...
That aside, I really love the color choices!!

Author's soapbox
Well, returning to the wallpapers topic, I have made this project, which begins with the idea of make a character that's "fade".
You can see the facial details, how the hair changes in the background and how the character is being "absorbed" by the "imagination" of a dream...
That's the idea.
