This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Mmmmm. Saw it at IN and though you might've posted it here too XD
I love how this wall is named Blue Skies when there really... isn't... any... skies... BUT the concept of the wall is soo purtiful and this blue is so easy on my eyes and I love blue and that little boat is so cute and the girl's hand is creeping me out and simplicity >z and bathtubs are good contemplation places but that's no good if you're taking a shower and DID I MENTION HOW MUCH I LOVE THAT BLUE?
Yeah. Textless =
[about the petitioning] Dang, there goes my plan too >D

I think that it's overly simplistic, but it doesn't feel like it has any point to it to be that simple. More to the point, I think you're making it simple just so that it could be simple.
It's okay, but to me, it looks too ... 2-dimensionalish. There's not quite enough highlighting and shadows to look 3-d, but too much to be truly 2-d, yet the effect still seems 2-d.
I think this might be because of the ripples. They don't go around to her back, which makes it seem like she could also be lying on the water. Also, the ripples for her arm are pointed in a different direction. This just doesn't feel right, somehow.
Congrats on the work, but I think that you need to rethink the concept again. I understand that you're saying that this is completely random, so... if I could classify this, I'd say it were something similar to "artistic spam."
I have to say I just love your style. Every time it´s so simple and clean that it puts a smile on my face. Great idea with that minimalistic style makes it perfect. It´s truly amazing how you can make a piece of art with almost nothing =) +fav
Lovely, clean wallpapers is the best material for desktops! Great work on this one. Love the mild tone of the water. Excellent detail with the little paper boat.
Keep up the good work!
Pretty simple, but I like the thought that's behind this wallpaper. Some people just put some brushes on and don't care about the theme or message the wallpaper should mediate. But yours have such a theme. Thank you for this one.
Oh, I like its simplicity. I love that paper boat!! The colors and the quality are also perfect. I don't think there should be anything else. It's just great as it is. =)
I like the textless version better. congrat! +fav

I think her hand looks a bit wierd (like.. it looks like the non-metal fingers are facing the wrong way) but that's the original image's fault?

If religion is that which binds men to one another, and irreligion that which sunders, then must I testify that I found the religion of my country in its musical genius and its irreligion in its churches and drawing rooms.
