As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. A quick, festive, cute wallpaper of Kero-chan and Suppi-chan. When I saw the bold colors and outlines of the scan I knew I wanted to wall it, because I loved the little "Kero-chan ni Omakase!" extra from the second CCS movie (to me, it was better than the movie itself, seeing hyper-Suppi eye-beaming everything in sight for some precious takoyaki.) I moved Suppi from his position almost directly behind Kero to one more to the side to suit a horizontal framing, and removed Sakura's hands from the image, so it's just the two of them in her bedroom. I also added a few more takoyaki to balance the plate a bit.

Well, it is just a vector but it looks really cool. Though I never watched CCS I like the appearance of Kero-chan (and I liked his parody-double in Abenobashi too) so I am glad that someone made a crazy wallpaper with him xD
