After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

This is for this month's (February) Vectorness Challenge. Let's see, I got home on the 24'th at about 5.30, and I realized that the deadline for the challenge was that night, so I worked all night and I finally finished it a little less than 12 hrs later. Yeah, I was up all night. After I finished the vector, I tried a few things for the background with brushes and textures, but none of them looked as good as this scan did for a background. So I used that one and added a texture, and there you go. I hope you all enjoy this. I'm welcome all comments and any suggestions you have! :-P

Okay, so I made a different version of the background, basically I just flipped it and added some skyfish. I also fixed the texture on Hollands face. I know it says 4 revisions, but I messed up and accidentally uploaded the wrong file... twice! But yeah, it's there now. If you tell me you prefer the other one (the lighting didn't make sense on it), I'll upload it and post a link. But I think that this version is far better, so I hope you think so too.
Everything looks pretty nice. =] the texture's a bit funny/prominent on holland's face. as well, the lighting on the clouds seem to be coming from the opposite direction as the lighting on the couple. other than those two details, the rest is well put together.

Hey man, Gj for a last minute project lolz I did mine quick too took 2 night to do mine but At least you got entered haha. I do agree with the other users that you should have credited the person for the background since you couldnt make your own. Because honestly one of the best parts of this wallpaper is the scenry. Wonderful compisiton none the less, pretty decent vector, at least for a 1 nighter *wink*. GJ and good luck let the best vector win!
Wow. This wall is getting a lot of crap for the background. I think people should not freakout about it. It's not like he didn't give you a link to the original scan and everything. That is a lot more than most people do so I think he deserves a little credit. Geeze.
Ok to be honest i really like this wallpaper, the work indeed is great, indeed it is, i mean if you just look at it, its amazing oh i can't tell how much good it is, its an A one wallpaper, the vectored character's the background everything its superb mate.

I have to admit the background scan is pretty good. Butmaybe if you didn't rush that much and take the time to make the background a little clearer the wall might be better than this; it looks a little blurry. But putting that aside, this is such a wonderful wall, the colours of the scan makes it look so good, textures are a very nice touch.
p/s: well 12 hours definitely aren't enough for me to rush the whole thing though. I missed the challenge >.<
THe background is really good, the environment, the sky looks very nice. The characters are looking good, they fit to the background well. Nice wallpaper.
