As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Presenting an identity theme wall, featuring a blend of three versions of meer -- in her lacus costume, as a model, and as her true self. it's sort of representative of the whole deal with her losing who she really was to the falsehood of being lacus. here's an even more cluttered version.

credits: the 11 or so floral brushes are selections from sets by Shiranui, screentones, anaRasha, and Tackybrush. all other design shapes are done by yours truly. original model meer was vectored from a screenshot and the other two versions of her are drawn by me to fit that pose.

thanks to those who previewed this wall for me. hope i can still get a wall into the gallery after my break from walling.

Do my eyes play tricks on me? Asa has a new wall? May it be caused by several hours behind the PC...no, no it is asa! Haha okay I love the wall! Awesome bright colors, and the using of brushes is just amazing. This wall really has a flow. Great job asa =)

It's so awesome! The vibrating colors and the creative concept, I love them. The brushwork is really good.
Meer is one of my favorite charas from Gundam, after Stellar. ^^

At first I wasn't sure what it was talking about, but now i remember that shes posing as lacus! that explains why shes wearing 2 or 3 outfits. i really like how you made them look transparant, looks way chill. the way you fif the hair is awsome too. I love the colors! so vibrant! this is m fav wall of lacus/meer/gundam seed so far! it's so awsome!

Oh wow, I love both versions of this wall! I actually think I like the more cluttered one better. Anyways I love the whole concept of Meer being lost in her identity. It's so true. And I love the text that says "Meer...or Lacus?" Overall the whole wall is great and very well done, with a unique sense of style! Great job!

I like what you did with meer's clothing and the transparency, really cool, and alos the bright colors giving it a really happy feel to it, most of all when i look at this wall it sorta brings me back and makes me think "retro meer" heh...

You got us all surprissed with this new wallpaper!... it was long time since your last work ^_^
I'm happy to see a new wallpaper from you.. This looks really nice.. amazing combination of bright colors.. and really well use of them...
Also the character looks beautifull... and its position looks like the girl really knows who to pose :P
The only thing that i don't like much is that there are soo many brushes on top of the girl... and the dark flower on the right side at the top.. i think that if you turn down it's opacity it would look better..
anyway great work!!

The vivid colors suit Meer well,she led a colorful and short life,she daced and sang,under the shadow of Lacus.The vector is good ,but I suggest that you make the outlines of her eyes a little thin,maybe that would be better

Wow this wallpaper is unique to say the least. I love how you blended the three outfits together, it flows and works very nicely together. The background and the entire atmosphere is very energetic and vibrant. This has to be one of the best looking wallpapers I have seen.
