For the 100 Themes Project @ Instant Noodles

Theme: Do not disturb!

Scan: Clicky!

Time: 10+ hours (Drawing the bg, vectoring the scan and some other stuff)

Listen to the Rock version of Utada Hikaru's "Hikari" from Kingdom Hearts! >__<

I wanted to keep it as simple as possible since the many books make the bg look quite busy. That's why I didn't colour anything and only vectored the outlines.

[edit]I drew the bg with a pencil but vectored the outlines with Photoshop, that's why the characters and the bg may look a bit different.. o__o

Lol, amazing job. i wonder, were you literally drawing the background? cause it looks very pencil-ish. and the characters don't look that pencil-ish. and pencil-ish look sooo good. pure fun to explore the details of this wall, i say. i want more. and widescreen. it would fit this, really ;]

This one is pity good, the black and white effect is quite match on the wall.
but the background seems a bit too much stuff, it look a bit messy when i use it as a wallpaper.
anyway, you did a nice job, good try.

Wow, awesome. Your self-drawn bg matches perfectly to Haruhi's characters. The fact that it only has two colors supports this symbiosis. I couldn't tell what's the part of the original scan and what was draw by you before clicking the scan link. You did a great job. Be proud! =)

what an awesome wallpaper..!
i love scenic walls... and rooms are my favourites.. in fact i have already made 2 rooms and i'm going for my 3rd one right now :P
This is just great.. i have no words left... the vectors are so clean and well done.. also the colors are nice.. and i can see some textures too...
It's is impressive the way you have imagined to place the characters around the room... and they are blending soo welll!!... This is just lovely!!

Very good. You made a nice wallpaper from using THAT stock. Good fixing, etc. Maybe some shadows? I don't know, that might ruin the wallpaper. But you did good on it. :-)
