This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I worked very hard to finish this wall and i went through a few stages (actually it was more then just a few >.> ) of making BG's for it... but in the end i went with something simple looking ^^
Whoa, nice design! I'm an avid fan of this type of wallpapers. And again this proves I'm still fond of it ^^! Very nice background and you've put it well together with the character.
Haven't seen the series yet, but if it's as good as this wall looks then I'm surely missing something out.^^
Wow the colors go well together, and I've seen the series and love it. Only thing is that where does this wall come from in the series or is it just for looks, but still it looks great.
WOW! I love the way you went about making this piece! The (almost) grayscale is a wonderful idea. I love the background you created for the scan. The scan is awesome as well. I think you chose well. I have but one problem with this wall and it is your use of the grid. I think it would have been better if you had not had the grid everywhere on the piece. For example I don't think it should have been on top of the character and i don't think you should have had it on top of the lighter gray bubble shapes. It distracts from the image and I think the absense of the grid in those places whould have added a nice touch. But, other than that, good job! Keep up the great work! ^_^
It's a bit pixilated like fairy-wings already said, but nothing really outstanding. I like the idea and all the black and gray tones in this one.
Tho it's 'just' an abstract wallpaper, I really like the way it turned out.
Thank you for sharing it.
Hey cool wall... i really like those color and you handle them so good, but i don't like too much is those lines in her dress and hair... i think it would be better without them... but i still tell you is GREAT job
