After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
I really wanted to have the scan on my desktop and try to get some depth in w/o using cheap stuff, such as mountains or cityscapes - the paint-o-rama 2nd contest was the motivation I needed to get it done fast, otherwise it'd still be lying around in my wip folder. I know the clouds are pretty sucky and the water extension isn't perfect, but I'm really fed up with it and the wall as it is now suites my Windows theme pretty well so I'm a happy camper.

Asuming the water really wet the cloth that you trying to display the effect. i belive that it wouldn't be transarence as that. And if the cloth was see though, the skin color isn't black. the water gradiant need work, but i love the concept. sky look like just placing that and not blend with blackground. Nevertheless, i like the feeling of this wall :D good luck on your next wall.

You should have added some more to the sky though. The salamander, i think that's it's name, would have filled up the sky some more.

It's cool. you made the scan work well, i like. it's a bit too blurry around where her feet hit the water (next time: smudge tool.) but i definitely like.
The clouds are awesome, the water is awesome, the chara is uber awesome. and hawt. i fell a disturbance in the water line though, i had to look and think to realize the 'camera' is a bit underwater. But it's just like on the scan in fact, so the creator is to blame. ;]
Very nice, its brave to re-paint an image and very difficult. You did a fine job! Only thing I dont like is the colors for the sky used. I think it would be stunning with a sunset or sunrise look. Right now it seems too...regular lol gj none the less but the regularness is what stops me from faving
I think parts of the clouds could use a little more blending. Otherwise this is lovely. So refreshing And I've always loved the water-reflections-lighting :D
Omg wow! what i found unique about your wallpaper is how you showed the water in at an eye level. it shows what's underneath the water. turned out really nice. i also admire the 1 point perspective and how the character is looking soley on that direction. it's very serene and suttle,especially the clouds. i hope you continue make great wallpapers.
I didnt even need to stop and think weather i should or should not use this for my desktop because i just automatically clicked on my image and used it. lol its incredible the way you captured the relaxing feel of the scan and the way you made the water beneath her feet.
