As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. This was my wall for which? waller round 1. 44% of guessers guessed me correctly; a few others thought Crapmonster made this wall.
I wasn't going for anyone else's style, I just wanted to make something with an Art Deco vibe, and decided to create a concert poster for Oruha. A very flat vector of this detailed scan - the hair was quite a pain to do - and some use of gradients and Deco-esque fontage and accents, and there you go.

I forget why I made it purple now, except that I wanted a color to contrast with the few spots of red without being too far on the complementary side.

Widescreen is wiiiide! Non-widescreen is heeeeeeere

This wallpaper is absolutely, undoubtly amazing, gorgeous and beautiful...

i'd already seens this scan on a lot of other wps of Clover, but the way you made it, it's perfect!! =D

Wah hah! I am reminded of my attempt at Art Deco when I was in high school! I think you pulled it off wonderfully (cheh, I make it seem like you had to try hard, but I bet you're already a pro at Art Deco)! Everything is so clean and crisp! That microphone looks like a huge spider to me, though, which is sad ;_;. Great job, again~!

Whoooaaa. For some reason, this caught my attention. I LOVE love love what you've done with the original scan. I followed the link that you gave, to the actual scan itself, and it looked NOTHING like the one in your background!

(The lady in your background's much prettier xDD)

The colour purple goes well with it. The blocks that the text is on look a little out of place though..

I love the concert poster concept you've used for this. It's comes together really well. The red nails and lips are certainly attention-getting, but I think maybe a little too much so. I'd prefer it with them still highlighted, but maybe in a more muted tone. As it is, I really love it.
