This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I'm 100% sure it's a wallpaper resolution - it says in the FAQ and there are other papers with that res available... the FAQ lists it under acceptable res, but it doesn't say the file limit

Another Jigoku Shoujo wallpaper from me because I still love the art. But I haven't seen the second season yet. I've read it's more of the same, but eh, might be fun :D So for this, I cleaned up the scan, added a floor and put the extra details on the floor from the flowers in her kimono so they're kinda like shadows but not really. In the end, I was trying to make a pretty picture into a better desktop! >:D emoticon

BTW, why is the thumbnail 5:4 when the main resolution is 16:10 ?

Very pretty. I love the flowers you have beside her. The texture of the floor kinda bugs me tho, it kinda clashes with the smoothness of everything else, if that makes sense. Lol, but anyways, an awesome wall and it gives off emotion really well with that scan. <3 emoticon

Hm, I like the art of jigoku shoujo too (the season two is not bed! :) ).

Uhmm...Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori is the second season and for now there are only 12 chapters subbed... they are so cool! you have to watch them!!
