After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
This wallpaper is completely vectored with the exception of the sky in the window, that came from a stock. It took me forever to vector this from a black and white manga scan, and then colored it myself. The shading in the black and white scan helps but I added more of my own.
The inspiration came when I was reading this yaoi manga called "Sukishiki Yuujoujutsu" by Monchi Kaori and I landed on this page spread. I literally paused for five minutes thinking, "I've got to vector and wall this." It's such a beautiful picture to pass and so, I got started on vectoring this. I had to stop halfway because I got a new computer and everything but, I am finally finished with this wallpaper.
I wanted to keep things minimal. At first, I was going to draw a bedroom background behind the couple but then decided it against it, because that would make the wallpaper too busy for my taste. I wanted the focus to be on the couple, like they were the only thing (or people) that's visible in the darkness (cheesy I know). So I did the window and I think it compliments the wall without taking the focus away. I also textured the wall because I couldn't help it and I wanted to make it seem like a painting (sort of). I didn't add text because I suck at doing text. Plus, there's no room for it.
Oh, and did I mention that in the original scan, the uke's (bottom guy) butt was showing? LOL. Yeah, so I had to cover his cute little butt with the bed sheet. The title of this wallpaper just spurred to me because of the story: poor uke is being chased by seme who wants to make the uke his (of course, there's more to it). So, I hope you see pass the yaoiness and appreciate and/or like this wallpaper.
For obvious reasons i'd probably be extremely drolling right now it it was a yuri wall, but still. i accept yaoi. the slight gradients look awesome, especially on cheeks. i wonder about the texture though. still, it had to be a devils job to make. but a damn good job ;]
Ehermm... Whew! First after reading the description, I was curious about this manga. LOL. This wallpaper is really great, vectoring it from a black and white base is whoa! I just wish that uke's butt wasn't covered. LOL. (Ehehe, joke! Or, maybe not. *evil laugh*) The characters are really the one in focused here and that is really a good choice. Great work with the color of the vectored characters and the it's background. The window gives a mysterious aura for me, Oh well, it's jut me^^.

I really love the position that their in and i really think you did an awesome job vectoring and colouring this! I think the blanket you put there to cover him up looks really sensual and i really like that...I have to add this 2 my Favz, you did a wonderful job, keep up the great work!! ^_^

OMG! It's yaoi! Run for your lives!
