This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Hellooo! I made this wall for Rapid Fangirls contest. I must make Calintz
in 'Spring' mode. I don't think I have Calintz scan which can fit with spring.
Well, Calintz always weild his sword and he never smile, even I have, the scan is too small >_< and I don't think this scan suit well to SPRING! Need your help to improve this wall. Thanks a lot!
You've got a whole bunch of great materials to work with. But they don't really blend together.
The arch way and the road along with the tree line don't really fit in very well with your wallpaper. The foreground looks great though, and so does your sky.
Try making the mid-ground portion of your wall more in tune with the foreground and background portions of it. Because they look more solid and the mid-ground portion looks more wispy and dream like almost, they just don't match up.
From what I can see.. I'd say your words stand out to much. I like the font and everything but maybe try to make the words look more like dust on the road. Or just a simple blending into the road would do fine. Thats my oppion. I didn't load it or anything just looked at it as is on the page. So, thats all I seen.
I think a little color adjustment here would go a long way. Notice how most of your wall is predominately green, with light blues and white, and some pink for the flowers. The red, deep green and yellow cast to the skin make him look as though he is not a part of the image. I think playing around with the colors, especially the cast of his skin and the red in his pants and the rest of his outfit to something more pastel like the rest of the scene would make it feel more springlike and help him fit better into this scene.

So maybe make something else to go in there.
Good luck and keep up the effort!
