This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

well i had this wallpaper on "i must finish this one sometime" list.
and here it is.
its done finally.

as always i ve made a little "scenario" , how could this happen.
dont know if it would be wise to mention it here.
well the stock image was found @ Deviantart
the scan is from minitokyo i think.
the brushes and textures from deviant and DA!.

the texture blended so well into the background, character etc.
the wall brings about a dark and a tad creepy atmosphere..
and that's why i'm loving it!
the blood is well done esp. the blood nears the muzzle.. quite detailed ;)

Definitely a favorite, the black and white, overshadowed with the imposing red is reminiscent of Schindler's List. While a little on the scary side, in that the victim seems to close to death, the look in his eyes, and the overall effect, is surreal. While this isn't the most spectacular wallpaper I have seen, it is very well done, and in my opinion, it deserves better than the rating it received. Nice work ^^

The background looks good, the dark room with the bloodstained floor is looking good. The character looks a bit strange there though, he looks strange on the floor next to a handgun, though, nice wallpaper.
