This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Hey guys! Suprise! Im making a widescreen collection on animes that are appearing soon, are underrated, or just needs attention. I love doing walls like this to give them more hype. This one is Sola one of the animes which I so desperately want to see. After seeing the audio drama and the absolutely gorgeous song that went with the drama I had so many inspirations for this wall. I added a new planet (back to space for a bit) made the clouds more spread around and realistic. Added the Sunlight, effects on Matsuri-Chan, and finally fixed up the horizon a bit with a dash of purple so it darkens and attracts the look. I hope you enjoy this wall ^^. Take care everyone!

NOTE: I wasnt aiming for sharpness on Matsuri since I just wanted to give that nice colorful relaxing feel than just doing realism like I usually do. Plus I was aiming for showing you guys my background ;P.
WoW jason, once again you hit us with a stunning scene. I am suprised to see an outdoor one tho lol your latest ones have been more indoors. UMm basically it looks kik butt and GJ!
And oh wow. The girl >_< I'm sorry. You really do need to use a higher quality scan for the girl in the foreground. But scan is too blurry for the amount of detail in the moon, lamppost, and the bg overall. Otherwise the effort you put in seems to go to waste. The bg that you made is beyond fantastic, it's pure awesomeness. The clouds and the lighting too work really well, and you even added stones into the wall.
Really, really, really, really nice work. But you do need to address that one major point.
The background looks really good, though the moon is a bit large, with a smaller, or without, the sunset'd look good. The character looks nice, she fits to the background well. Nice wallpaper.

Really Really Really like the high contrast of the moon, if I remember corectly, in u´r past wall´z, you made u´r planets a bit "blurry", which was beautiful as well, but I prefer this way!

Very impressive bold colouring. Attention to detail is not lost, the clouds, the buildings in front of the light, hinting at larger expanses and the reflection in the window!

You created a really nice and romantic scenery in this wall.
I fall in love with the background at first sight because of this wonderful sundown. Great work on the moon, I think it has the right size for the wall. Smaller would have looked not so good.
I also think that the blurry of the scan is not so bad. The main sight of the wall is on the background and the scan itself is not the main point of the wall. But that's only my opinion.
You always create such wonderful backgrounds. I wish I could do so.
I really want to see more from your work.
