As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. I did this one as a request from one of my friends for a wallpaper of Naruto chibis. So of course that meant I was bound for Naruto scan gallery in search of scans to use; it took a while, but once my mind connected the dots between those two scans, the idea clicked and here we are ^^ ...and for some reason, I gave it kind of a 90s sort of design flare a little? Don't know why, but it just seemed right n_n

I don't understand the reason for the photo-realistic background to it... Never have chibis with photo-realistic backgrounds... And nothing seems to blend together as the large Sakura scan seems in bad quality or just plain fuzzy for some reason. I understand she's in the clouds but... -_-

It's a cute concept but hasn't been executed right, nor does it really make a good wall. >_< Since mixing two different art styles has always been an issue... With me.

The background is very nice, the sky with the clouds, its colors are really nice. The characters looks interesting in the background, the title is good. Nice wallpaper.

Cute but not chibi, mordern but not too over detailed, soft, yes promising, well sized, placed properly, not too many colors, and its focus of the main character of the art, its not ...busy so to speak
