Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Looks like this is going to be a spring break of finishing up all of the photoshop projects I started last quarter. Next up on my 'to be completed wallpapers' list is Higurashi!
I've wanted to make another Higurashi wallpaper ever since I finally finished watching the series. And since Rena is my favorite character and the last anime arc was in my opinion the best of the series, I decided to go with this manga scan. I loved the original idea of the scan with the ribbons, so I just expanded on it. Vectored everything (because I just love to vector that much! <- not being sarcastic), added more ribbons and other junk as well as a fridge (if you know the story you will know why it is there). Hope you like it!

The ribbons are fitting as the red really is a main color to express those emotions the higurashi crew has. Good Job!
Real nice idea and really cool drawings! Definitely like how lynch-y the whole scene looks.
However, I am a fan of the "gore straight-2-Da-kill without emotions" kind of wallpapers, especially when it comes to When Cicadas Cry, this is why, perhaps this is not one of my tops. When it comes to drawing though, this is an EXCELLENT hit!
Wow really like this one. Odd tint of the prospective of her hugging the axe; really plays along with the story line. Very artistic, though the rest of it seems rather abstract, and a little out of context in some ways. Still, 4/5 from me.

I like her "look how twisted a loli can be" face much more.
