Sitting at my desk, twittling my thumbs, and praying that something will magically happen and all my work will be done for the night... Long and drawn out right? :S

This is my first collab ever and I was lucky enough to have as nice and patient a partner as August to put up with my many questions. =P in the beginning, I took on the easy part of typing up the text, based on the cast & crew for the actual anime. I used other images to help me with the logo (not very good at drawing wolves), sticking to a blue color scheme. When August sent me her finished vector of Blue (it was very nice for her first), I set to work on adding details, shading, and textures (except for the eyes, August did them). Eh, sorry for the cheap attempt at something so... a la Grayserg (to borrow MinstrelKnight's phrase) when it came to Blue's hair. Having translucent streaks was, in my mind, the simplest way due to the illusion of more detail coming from overlapping areas. *changes topic* Ah but the mist, isn't it wonderful? ;] August did a marvelous job on that. Anyway, hope you like this!

Let's see, how did this go? Well, first we split it up so I would do the vector of Blue and Asa would make the movie logo and text. Then we decided on where to put Blue, the moon, and the logo; placing them to the side was Asa's idea, I'd thought center at first ^_^; (her idea was much better). We where going to make it a lakeside theme at first, but it just didn't look convincing with the moon so big, so we scrapped that and went with mist instead. After that, we switched and Asa worked on enhancing Blue while I placed and arranged the Logo and text with the layout and put in the mist. After that, Asa sent me back the edited image of Blue and I put it in and gave it an overlay to enhance the colors some. The eyes, those where definitely a collaboration, I made the initial eyes with the vector, Asa did some enhancements, then I did some more enhancements on top of those. And after the appropriate amount of fine tuning, we where done ^_^ And for the whole thing, Asa was just a truly amazing person to make a collab wallpaper with, she's really good at planning things and her observations where thoughtful, very good natured, and, well... she's probly better at collabs than I am, and this was her first one ^^
Ah!! I love it! The whole wall is perfect! Only I have a problem downloading it it only downloads down to the top of where it says Blue Moon...Anyone else have that problem?

Simply beautiful wallpaper. I like this character. The vector are excellent. The wolf's logo are great, because is creative and with good taste. The background isn't so creative, but have the good taste in combine with all thema in this wallpaper.
Resuming: Excellent wallpaper XD

Awesome high quality wallpaper of Blue from Wolf's Rain. She has a very cool french-esqe design. I like how you boldened up the look of the wall so that everything contrasts nicely. Good work and keep it up!
Honestly this is an incredibly gorgeous wallpaper. You met your concept with flying colors. This truly in my eyes if I were to see this out in the real world in poster format a movie poster. Your vectoring is beautiful and astoundingly attractive. I love all the little elements incorporated with this piece. The wolf with the flower and the text is VERY well placed. I also feel that the background enhances and captures everything the movie is about. Congratulations on your collaboration. Fantastic work. This is certainly a wallpaper to go into my favorites for workmanship and beauty. Wonderful job you two ;). Hope to see another collaboration from the two of you ^_^. +Fav
Great concept, masterfully executed. The vector work is well done and the moon is the best I've seen in an anime wallpaper. Typography is tricky to implement effectively, but you both did a nice job by incorporating the wolf and flower logo elements. The mist is, indeed, lovely! Commendable job, you two.
I love the idea of a movie poster, very original! The wolf was well-drawn and I love the blue color theme too. This wallpaper is a piece of art, you did an incredible job there! The color, shading, textures and all the details are so in sync, very well done! The two of you did really well, I especially love the wolf and the mists =.= So beautiful! Fav+
The idea for this contest is great and you made a wonderful wallpaper to participate.
I love the blue theme of this wall a lot.
Great work on the title and the drawn wolf in it.
The vector of Blue is just gorgeous. I wish I could vector like that. Great job, august ^.^
I think you both decided right to put Blue not in the Center of the wall but on the side. Looks great like that.
Very good work on the background, I really like the moon and the sky.
Well, I must say I just want to see more of your work.
Maybe you're doing a collab again, please!
