This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This is my first submission and I wasn't quite sure what to post it under where it's a mix between Trinity Blood and Ronin Warriors. I did not see a crossover or misc. section. I'm still a bit of a novice using Photoshop so I tried to keep it as simple as possible without making it too lame. This wallpaper is currently on my own desktop but then again I am a major fan of these two characters so I can't be very impartial.

Firstly you need a better scan of Mr. Loyalty. B: You have two backgrounds, neither of which is stellar, the one that takes most of the screen sort of goes with Petros but neither of them truly mesh. Furthermore, if you want both characters to share the limelight they have to be cast IN the self-same light. Petro is too dark, or Shuten is too light.
I suggest for a background something that isin't geometric and goes with the flows and poses of your characters...I draw your attention to the colors of Petros Hair, and Shutens thigh armour, they are very similar, try taking that as a base color for a background, put in highlights or whatever from each persons regalia, and see how it comes out.
Ohhh, and if you can get a new Scan of Shuten in that pose and that position, it actually works really well.

All that's left is to wait for the curtain to rise.
