This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This is the first wallpaper I did that has a realistic type background. I tried my best to give that serene feeling of a summer love and what better setting than a sunset is there to depict that. The background I think tured out really well I think and when aI look at it, it just seems really peaceful to me. It didn't start out as a wallpaper with a realistic background but it looked better this way so I decided to make it like this. Hope you enjoy and thanks for everyone's input on it.
The background looks great, the colors you chose transmit serenity and quietness, There's one thing I really don't like and that is that you blurred the left side of the main character's, it seems you did that to compensate for the scans bad extraction (even if that's not the case) so you should work on that, everything else looks really good, keep up the good work.
Really diggin the atmosphere you have created with this wall. The colors are good and have a soft feel, and the scan is pleasant. However, the blurring transition just doesn't seem to mesh well and feels really awkward. the leaves at the bottom stick out quite a bit and should probably be softened up a bit or faded somewhat. the Text doesn't really go with the soft Autumn atmosphere- try adn find something with a more wispy look to it. Not bad- lots of potential.
Well, i'd just like to say that i really like the background, especially around the bottom, the clouds in the area just above the grass looks amazing..
erm, like mentioned earlier, the lur transition seems a bit too sudden tho, especially the bottle and the dude's hair.. maybe do something with that?
other than that, i really like the colors used.. seeing the leaves as well, makes it have a sorta summer/autumn feel to it. good job on the whole.
Nice job. I definately agree that you should not have blurred the left side of the characters and instead worked on the a crisp transition, but still love the wallpaper.
Its very nice overall
but there is 1 thing that looks a bit weird...the maple leaves are all very clear and sharp, but the characters are blurred?
this is creating focus on the background instead...maybe i'll reverse that
Wooow
go very good image
that the leaves a texture very even used that is made me already
this good even enchants to me
as they combine the fonts with the background
Let's just go to the center of the comment, ok? Well, the wall is very lovely, adorable, & beautifull; the characters are cute & wonderfull; the font is nice; the background is wonderfull; & the colors are very peacefull, enjoyfull, & lovely... Very great job!! I'll add it to my favs+!
The background`s nice,the scans are really really nice ( i love the girls eyes),the background`s nice and i agree,the whole wallpaper looks peaceful n_n

great colours you used

All the folly of a fight
With a common wrong or right.
The innocent and the beautiful.
Have no enemy but time;
Arise and bid me strike a match
And strike another till time catch;
Should the conflagration climb,
Run till all the sages know.
We the great gazebo built,
They convicted us of guilt;
Bid me strike a match and blow.
