This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Nah, I don't want new ones I need these ones to break in more. But my left thumb is really hurting right where the knuckle is >.< I guess I have some bad habits on my left hand.
Okay, I've been loving the whole abstract with text style that is going on, so i decided to make one with a chaotic anime series: Samurai Champloo. For this wallpaper I took a lot of images, screwed with the levels in Photoshop so I have a black and white base, threw it in illustrator to get it all smoothed out, and then put it in the wallpaper. I did this a lot (was a pain especially for those swords below mugen's sword), and then I added a lot of textures, blood spatters, lyrics from the opening of the show etc. I also tried to colors off faded colors, however, the colors around the characters matched them (IE jin = blue, mugen = red). I also tried to make it look kinda pop arty like, and I think it came out okay.
I JUST LOGGED IN FOR A SEC...SAW YOUR WALLPAPER, I WAS HITTING DOWNLOAD BEFORE I COULD EVEN KNOW WHAT I WAS DOING. GREAT GREAT WALL(SORRY FOR THE CAPS, COMPUTER IS ACTING UP)
I don't know, man. This wall looks like it really has potential but right now it certainly has flaws. First of all, some of it is blurry and some lines are jagged. The color scheme also looks like it needs improvement. It's still pretty stylish, though.
There was just too many reasons for adding this wallpaper to favs...
first of all, I love this style.
Second, my res is available!
Third, great combination of various elements plus a wise choice of colors.
Fourth - oh come on, aren't 3 reasons enough? ^-^
A very stylish wallpaper. From the get go you could tell a lot of thought a creativity went into it. I like the backgrounds and how you overlapped all the three main characters into the wall. Awesome job and keep up the good work!
I love all the combinations you have going on there. The background looks great, and the different character poses go well together. On top of all that, I can't really complain about the color combinations. Overall, great work!
