This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This is a wallpaper I actually started over a month ago and only got around to finishing last night. XD I've never really made a 'dark' wall before. O.o lol
I would have been done a lot sooner but I had to decide on what to do with the sign Sakura was holding originally. I couldn't just edit it out and have her hold nothing, because then her arm would be up in the air and it would seem silly that way. So I made the little 'poster' with the text. I wanted to make it look tattered and worn, like her dress is.
I loved this scan and I loved how Sakura looked in it, so I knew that I wanted to wall it right away. It's just such a change from the beginning of the manga. She's not so innocent anymore. Hence the title.
As you can see there was a lot of text and parts missing, so it took me a while to cover those up and redraw the missing parts. I hope it looks all right.
The fence I made myself. I didn't have it there originally but it looked way too plain without it. I think it looks cool. ^_^

The background looks good, the dark cloudy sky, the grass with the trees looks nice. The character is looking good, she fits to the background well. The title is a bit strange, nice wallpaper.
This has to be one of the coolest pictures of Sakura done! It's not often she gets portrayed in such a manner! Also, the background you've done with this image just makes it all the more fantastic! *claps*
I really enjoy the image of Sakura you used, I really like how it was done up. The thing that kind of seems a little out of place to me--and I don't know why--is the background. It just... doesn't fit for me, if you know what I mean.
