While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I really like the position of Raito so i used it for this wall. I started with the background with clouds and different luminosity effect. I applied some brush for the back. Then i used Raito and i smudge him many times and put in Linear dodge .I used motion blur and gaussian blur with high luminosity on Raito to represent him like an Angel^^ but he's not^^I added the blood on him cause he 's also Kira. I wanted to make a wall where Kira succes to make his perfect world ^^
i used photoshop CS2 / time : 2h-2h30 / hope you like it ;)

It's almost an epic wallpaper...Kira finally succeeds in creating his perfect world (so, we're all dead...ouch).
Seriously, I really like it, nothing too complex, but I must admit it looks uber-cool ^-^
XDD It looked like Sessomaru when I first looked at it, but it is a pretty sweet wallpaper when you look at it and the tones of colours you've used are nice.
I love your idea and yeah, I love the pose.
He looks good all in white and the clouds are fine.
I just feel sort of uncomfortable about that sky and it would have looked better with just one color. The blood looks alright I guess...But the text is a nice addition! Good work overall.
