As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
Yep :) should be fun, when I first heard about the contest I was thinking it was taking a full color scan and vectoring it to a gray scale or something which sounds fun too :)
The background is very nice, the sky with the clouds looks good, and the colors are nice. It could use some cleanings though, there are diagonal stripes on the background. The character is looking good, she fits to the background well. Nice wallpaper.
Wow, I think that you did a really good job with this wallpaper. What I like most is the fact that the scan and the backround blend in very well. A lot of wallpapers have good scans but sometimes it does not match the backround, but that is not the case for this wallpaper. Good job and keep up the good work. I hope to see more of your work in the future.
