This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This is a wallpaper that started with my frustration over my sister. She just broke up with this obsessive freak and I was happy she claimed she needed her independence. Next week I hear she got together with some other guy. She didn't admit straight forward that she just needed some guy, but that unfortunately is the case. Therefore, when a friend told me to look through the gallery of Princess Ai and I saw this scan I had a clear vision of what I wanted to do.
This is widescreen since I have a 16:10 monitor. I made two versions of this wall a colored one (my little baby) and a monochrome one that follows the original scan.

Thanks so much to Marissa for the scan.

The background is a bit simple, but nice, the colors are fits together. The character is looking good, she fits to the background well. Nice wallpaper.
I must say the vector work is quite attractive. Nicely done and the idea is rather odd but interesting. What is the meaning of the web of strands in the black area? If anything. The colors are catchy yet soft on the eyes. This is an important element to me in wallpapers for putting on your desktop. Lol, your dedication is certainly funny. INDEPENDENCE RULES! LMAO! Thanks for sharing.
Have a nice day.

I love it very much! The vector looks very nice. And the text rocks, I agree I like to be alone and be independent =3 (at least for now and for a while haha).
Keep up this hard work, the character is enchanting ^_~

The font and background are a bit dull.
