Sitting at my desk, twittling my thumbs, and praying that something will magically happen and all my work will be done for the night... Long and drawn out right? :S
I promised myself I wouldn't make any wallpapers during this school semester so that I might keep focus on my studies. That didn't happen often anyway, but still... This one was almost half-arsed and part of another simple project anyway.
Eh, this was originally a guild layout which I decided to make into a wallpaper because I liked what I did with the image... That funky pop style- I'd never done it successfully before... So anyway I then thought of a crazy idea of making a million avatar sized images to create some kind of funky background to plop the image of the girl I had already made sparkly on it... That didn't work out so I came up with this about four hours later on my second to last night of Spring Break... If you look at the biggest photo, you can see my first attempt to stack the avis... I then scratched that idea and threw the avatars all around.
And here is my generic "photo" wallpaper folks...

I mean dude, this thing can't even function as a wallpaper. It messes up my eyes with the icons and so on... Eh, I've lost it man. I lost what little creative spark I had to start with...

I like it, it's pretty cool! I like the abstract photos fx in the middle, naisu! Not too keen on the avatar things though, I think it would look a lot better without any of those boxes, a bit too distracting and busy for me..
Other than that, yeah I like the brush/splatter look mixed with plain bg - sweet!
Good luck this semester, you better not fail anything coz I miss you here!
I love the new wallpaper that you made but not liking the avatars that much. I like the whole splatter effect you got going on but besides that its a good wallpaper.
I like the idea of the scattered avi-size photos, but I don't think it worked out. The stacked avatars on the large photo seem out of place, especially since the one row isn't really "stacked" as it's cut off by the large photo's border. I think the wall would be improved by taking out those two organized avatar rows, but YMMV.
I really like the colours you have going here, the contrast between the grey background/black borders/delicate colours of the pictures. I think it's interesting.
I'm sticking this in my favourites, because I know I'll want to look at it again and again, and I don't want to lose it in the shuffle of the site.
I had a feeling faith might do the trick to bring you back to the wolrd of wlaling, and it did, albeit it is indeed rather sad that this was all there is. I know you are busy and keep it up, hope you get the good marks.
Oh, and the wall? I am not so much into picture collage, but the text is what I would call excellent!
Very cool design. the whole pictorial oscillations is really cool and gives of a unique depth to the wall. but the problem is that is becomin overused. you should try to experiment more with your own style and not just other peoples. but overall it look sreally gud . i have no other bad points to describe so i shall say only one thing..

"Generic photo wallpaper"? Its got your own grunge touch all over it. I really love those li'l avatar boxes "breaking out" of the neat stacked grid and out of the whole photo frame thingy.

Very unique and crazy at the same time,in a good way of course,lol.Just how the photos are layered like that,while the collage of many images just works so well with this.You kind of get lost when you try to piece it together as to how it should go,but thats what makes it crazy that way.

Awsome though i cantremember who that character is, looks too anime to be recognizable. ill guess sniper wolf or someting maybe shes from 4. idk either way its a really good wall. amazing wall. correction wonderous wall.~! XD
