This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.
Great, now im going psycho... it may be possible ive been spending a few hours searching for a scan that i think i saw but truly never existed... it was all in my head =.=;
This is the second wallpaper I posted up as my double update before I left for Otakon. Basically, after seeing wallpapers like nat's Futako Alternative and Bromithia's XXXholic use of curtains, I figured I'd givie it a try myself. This wallpaper is pretty simple really, I just used the pen tool, layer masks, and a bit of blurring to create the effect I wanted. I was aiming for a kind of surreal look, and I think in the end it turned out pretty cool. I hope you all enjoy!

So you're back? ^^ I do like the utlization of curtains, if the feathers cast shadows on it it would be even better XD, The other thing is the transition between the floor and the sky, which makes the sky look like it's 2-D instead of a sky...Otherwise, I like it!

i guess the only thing i would edit in the wall are the lines on the curtains, the seem to be a bit too straight, and needs a bit of smudging, but all in all really nice :D
oh the text i like simple yet it works :D...someone told me once "use times new roman tate!" and i was kinda not sure..but now i'm a big fan of simple fonts, especially in a non-kiddie walls :D anyway i digress, nice work redxxii

Well shuffle is definitely one of my current favorite animes and this wall does it justice. The curtains are just awesome man. I also like the checker pattern floor XD. Keep up the good work

I absolutely adore this wall! The themeing, characters, use of the curtains and black/white feathers for difference between the characters.. everything is done excellently. +fav ^^
