This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Nah, I don't want new ones I need these ones to break in more. But my left thumb is really hurting right where the knuckle is >.< I guess I have some bad habits on my left hand.
This is definetely a wallpaper you don't want to miss.
The painted scan and the background blend perfectly together in harmony by creating a scene with a very dramatic yet calm atmosphere. On a technical note the flawless perspective, the flying papers and a balanced use of textures are worth to be mentioned as well.
And with such a good composition and concept I can do nothing but congratulate dhias and Kyendo on this excellent job.
This wall is the second piece in the tortured soul series. The original image is a black and white sketch of Dio in the Last Exile Spheres artbook which I coloured. The background, fonts and textures were done by Kyendo. Thanks to ayane-chan of Two-World-Collision for creating the opportunity for us to work together. Also thanks to nuniko, ShiNN, WhiteBlaze, Bromithia, and the rest of the guys in irc who gave their comments. Also, to Kyendo for his exceptional patience. Yay! Let's do some more!
Also, Happy birthday Rockieee~~, this wall is for ya!

"Well, no much to say now. This wallpaper was a challenge and my lvl went up! Ask dhias, she saw it. :P Well, uh, personally, I'd like to credit Image*After for the texture, and my scanner for some other textures. I'd also like to thank those people dhias mentioned (thanks for all the advice!). And, well, that's it.
...We did it, dhiachaaaaaan~~~~~~~! XD"

Pillars are too close to each other in my opinion and they lack variety. the side of each pillar is perfectly straight, perhaps add dents or bumps to make the pillars look older and realistic. awesome idea and i love the falling papers.
Hey that's a great wall
it has an eerie feeling to it
the papers floating about? superb work there
i dunno what else to say..but collabs rock! ah i remember my collab works with kalico ;-; they were the best hehe =p
anyway good job :D
The lighting looks superb *_* great job both of you~~~ XD i'll have it on the twc page soon :3 though it's rather different from the original that dhias-san showed me, it looks great nonetheless. the textures looks yummy~~
Love the grunge and textures going on in this wallpaper. Great work on the papers floating around also~ The floor looks a lot better than the first time you showed me it, I think atleast. Good job :)
Ooh, it's Dio from Last Exile, my favorite character out of the whole series! ^_^ Awesome work, you two! I love the overall textures and colors; gives the wallpaper a feeling of sadness. Nothing to complain about this wallpaper.
Awesome.. with the simple background and the lightfall and the papers .. looks awesome . cannt say more.. dont have the right words for it - havnt a good english. =/ *favi*
WOW! i love the flying papers in the front of the wall and the wonderful textures in the background, you also chose some really nice colours to go with the scan. everything really goes well together. great job! =D
Hehe nice nice, not bad =D~! hmz...the textures and things blend well. hmz...but I think the title would fit better like: "I see the light" instead of I saw the light =/.....cause there is still light O.O

Awesome. The wallpaper has an aura. The bg fits very well with the scan. Last Exile wooow. Pure Dio. He seems lonely. Nice texture, nice work! I like it! :)
LOL @ caption. Very serene feel, the colours work beautifully. I thought you'd done an amateur job on the floor and wall interaction but the fade into shadows effect looks great in fullview.
Wowies, this is simply beautiful! I really love the texture on this wallpaper. Really dark and mysterious. The lighting is really nicely done and the flying paper looks amazing. The crack ground adds a really ancient feeling. Great colouring of the black and white scan! Awesome work!
Ecelent Walpaper! *adds as favorite* You released it on the last episode of the show being played on G4. I aggree with pink-sakura, Dio is my favorite character in the series.
