This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Full view recommended. Like, very, very highly recommended :)

I know this particular scan has been walled 10,000 times already, but me and Lily started work on this about 2 months ago. So we claim to the first to wall this scan XD

Lily (aplastictree) did the character vectors, and I did the bg and blending. Lily did an awesome job, and props to her for actually agreeing to vector all the characters ^^ We decided to make the bg just like the dockyard scene in the scan since we loved the grungy rock scene, and that's what I tried to convey here.

Everything here has either been vectored or made from scratch. I made the warehouse and cloud background, and vectored the crane and ground. The text in the wall is taken from the Golden Skans by the Klaxons, Lily's favorite band ^_^ We hope you enjoy this wall as much as we did :)

I tried to edit the wall at MT but I ended up deleting it instead. Isn't life funny? And now it won't work for me so I can't add it up -dies-

Also, my fave band is Muse. Klaxons is my "sound-of-the-moment" :3

But putting that aside, when in doubt, vector! Faves because we're just so pwnage.

I like Haruhi and her world -> very good idea for a wallpaper; there are never enough wallpapers anyway :p
THe vectoring of the characters are very good : nothing to say ;-)
The background is full of elements and good. Only one thing :
the soil under the feet of characters is too yellow ... may be a little bit less aggressive or more grey ?
Anyway, good job.

Anyways, Love the vector work she did, and the clouds are simply amazin, because they are so soft, and blend in supper well. I think this wall is one of the best TMOHS walls ever. :D haha. OMG... I'm totally frustrated... I was planning to vector all of it too, after seeing the other wall by lana3007 I thought about abandoning it but seeing that the vector wasn't great as mine I did recover some hope... but now... with yours there is no need to continue... vector is great, the scene is great, the whole thing is great... I don't want too but I need to make it a fav... damn... so frustrated... so frustrated...

(only thing: Haruhi eyes are way too bright)

Damn it aplastictree has got good tastes in music. Muse and Klaxons are my favourite bands at the moment. Shame Klaxons pulled out of a gig I was going to at Wembley Stadium in June.

Aaaanyway, onto the wallpaper. I've been waiting a while for a vectored wallpaper version of this scan. I was gonna do one myself but I settled with just doing a drawing.

Couldn't have done it better myself. Couldn't have done it anywhere near as good. Nice, clear and crisp. +fav!

Luvs it! You guys are amazing XD I love both of your walls, and now you put your skills together and worked on one!? O.O lol what can I say? I love the vectoring and the bg and the seagulls and the cranes...and everything! The only thing is I really really wish you guys kept the original perspective T-T I was so crazy about the original perspective (in the scan) so I wish it was the same, but it still looks awesome!
