This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
The reason why is if I make the thread, one of the other threads wont be on the main page. Only 10 can be there. The only unneeded thread was the freelancer thread. Besides, Eternal isn't a house. only a title.
Wellllll this didn't take too long at all, lol. made it last night so when I go home I'll have something new to put on my home comptuer. The scan was pretty cool and I wanted to turn it into a wall so I did some heavy editing to make Clare look badass. If you haven't seen the show, when Claymores' look at you with those eyes you're about to get your head chopped off. XD This consisted of scan + brushwork + texture + loads of image adjustment layers + orange highlighting. Thanks to tate for suggesting that I make the right side splatter darker to give things more depth. yeaaaa I like grunge and heavy textures, so this may not be for you clean wall lovers. Check out Claymore, its pretty sweet.

I have to say that this wall truly makes me want to see this series. The transition from dark to light with the appearance that the darkness is filing in and those eyes really give the sense of a coming doom. I also think the heavy texturing and grunge feel work very well on this wall.
It really different than the scan but it's awesome! Eyes are frightening! It's like soron in the lord of the ring ^^. So nice work on textures too it's so...grunge. Really like your work, keep it up. And it's a favorite for you.

lol, this wallpaper just gives me the chills, now if only the eyes were a little off white rather than yellow, actually, red sounds good too, for those bloodshot rage moments.
