This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.
Great, now im going psycho... it may be possible ive been spending a few hours searching for a scan that i think i saw but truly never existed... it was all in my head =.=;
Hmmm...the scan you chose was an interesting one...^O^
a few suggestions though:
`since your bg is black, i would suggest using darker shades of green for the grass. it's night-time, but how can the grass be so bright/light-coloured?
`the leaves in the bg should be taken out in my opinion. it's byakuya! i would add sakura petals or just leave out the falling random thingys. maybe add some clouds or stars [you can download brushes at lunaregina.com or deviantart.com]. the mods like to see original brushes.
`you can also add some stars and moon in the sky to make it more like the night sky. either that or make him in the dark, as there seems to be no light source for him...@_@
`i would also change the font and the placement. www.dafont.com has quite a few good fonts you can use.
`and also try making the scan less fuzzy or grainy. there are plenty of tutorials online if you don't know how to do that.

I think the scan..is a bit blurry..and the vectoring is okay for the picture.. the background is a bit plain.. might text adding some stars in the back..since it looks like its at night.. and maybe you can put a little more text for the wallpaper.

I think the "sky" is too simple... You can add clouds, sun and much more!
