This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Anyway this is a vector that i did long ago, I was advised by alotta people(2 people) not to use it. But I ignored all common sense and did it anyway, well dunnoe if this even reaches the standard requirment but here it is.
Btw i suck terribly at vectoring and not to mention this is my first vector ever done.
I think it looks very nice! I tend to disagree with "what's best" in a wallpaper too. Not all people see EYE-to-EYE. Anyway, it looks good to me, enough to add it to my favorites anyway! Keep up the good work! ^_^
Yeah, you're vectoring needs a lot of help; the lines are way too think and need some variation in thickness (like thining out at the tips of her hair, etc). It's a neat concept, except I know I have the same exact feather brushes on my PC; try mixing it up a bit with some feather brushes you made yourself and using the brush tool's own options (like scattering, shape dynamics, etc).
Very nice and artistic man! personally it's a bit "full"- no space for my icons- but really other than that minor detail everything looks very awesome!
The vector process can be very tricky. I think you did a great job for your first time and you should keep working on it because the pic was nice but you need better color. I need to see vibrance happening.

I think you mispelled the title : it's RahXephon with "h" , it hurts my eyes :) too bad because I like the font used ...
