As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Welcome to my first-ever completely vectored wall! The hardest part of this by far was the Orihime vector. But it looks so simple, why was it so hard? Because of the size of the scan I used. It was...beyond small. I uploaded it to ImageShack:

For the wall, I added some nice patterns to her outfit. Then was the background. There are quite a few walls that use a similar colour scheme to this one, and I absolutely love them. So I tried it out myself, and I think it matches the vector pretty well. The rest is nice and simple and pretty easy to figure out--the title "Blooming Smile" and the flowers blooming around her. All made from scratch. Lots of icon space too! Unless you have a ton ^_^

I believe the background design really fits well with Orihime's personality and its also done very well. Love the scan that you chose to work with too. I also like the fact that you did not go with bright colors for the background but rather the color shade of her uniform. It makes Orihime more of the focus of the wall.

the character looks very cute... the only thing i can mention is that her eyes look a bit strange and i don't like that much the pattern on her clothes...
Also i would get rid of the text on the left side and blend the little flowers some more.. they look too close to each other and to much centered.. it would look better with more randomness and less opacity of the tiny flowers..

Wow that's a nice wallpaper ASH ^_^. You are getting better and better at walling. I like the vector, and also the colors too =]. That's my next lesson, to learn how to do vectors =]. Good work on the scan, it was very small.
