This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Well, I hate the card! I made it firstly in big resolution, and i dont know that the outlines will be turn really bad if i resize the image! >.<
And the hair ZOMG i make it really bad! The coloring i mean... T_T but well, overall, i quite like this wall actually xD
Lines are using pen tool, and coloring using brushes *dies*
its really hard since this is first time using brushes only... D8
Whilst not outstanding technically, it's accomplished every other way. The lines make it look like it's a page of a manga book captured. The sort of colouring, the lines, the composition all contribute to emulating the original shojo manga that became one of CLAMP's masterpieces very well. Even the sqiggly writing is true to the nature of this series. And yet it does have some of your own signature in it. Not to mention it's very pleasant to the eyes and on a desktop too.
... when i saw this wall.. it kind of reminded me yina's one.. "Es war einmal" lol
it's a different though.. but the clouds look similar..
This would sure look better if you made a vector of the scan... cause the color of the outlines look too strong and the image's quality looks a bit poor..
Anyway it's a good wall ^_^

I like the colouring and the background but you should have vectored Sakura with smoother and a teensy bit thicker lines. I like it a lot though other than the lines. ^_^
