This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Nah, I don't want new ones I need these ones to break in more. But my left thumb is really hurting right where the knuckle is >.< I guess I have some bad habits on my left hand.
This is my second attempt at vectoring, and this time I did the entire image, not just a couple of characters. Couple hits of the airbrush and blur tool in Photoshop, and volia, the result of 6 days worth of work. Final layer count is 31, and about 45 hours from start to finish. I do hope you like it!
Very nice work for a 2nd attempt n_n b Shuei gives a 9+ rating
I strongly recomend an outline the next time you vector and give more details to the
strong spots of the scan like her legs, hair and facial expressions ^^ Looking forward to your next jobs

Wow, I've been looking for some Gunslinger Girl papers recently and then this caught my eye! This is a really nicely done piece, crisp, clean and the colors are vivid (which makes a nice contrast from the usual gloominess associated with the series). An instant +fav for me. Great work!
Thanks everyone. :) I intentionally left out as many outlines as I could, just experimenting with keeping it as clean as possible. Just for something different. Notice the Fun at the Beach Madlax girls are completely outlined. The way I did this one just looked better to me.
Nice job! There are a few spots in there that are slightly awkward and have some un-necessary points and edges (such as the hand), but overall, not a bad vector! Sharp wall.
GREAT job! I am very impressed with how well you did, and I know that spending that much time and vectoring the whole image was time consuming, but let these nice comments make up for your efforts. Keep it up! =)
Beautiful. Just beautiful. I see some stuff on the chair and on the scan's hair (edges) that need more shadows, but they're not too obvious. Adding this to my favorites. :)
One of my top favorite anime of all time, and you did it justice. Very nicely done, and great idea with the brush texturing on the chair. (And I personally own the civilian FN P90, so having it sitting next to her is always a plus.) Easy decision: Favorite.
WOW so good. This has to be one of the best pieces i've seen...although some bits seem more detailed than others but still. IMO this is done very well overall! WELL DONE!
