This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I've always wanted to see Gaara and Toph fight to see whos better at using earth. I'm not going to get into who I say would win but if you want to know what I think you can pm me or leave a user comment on the site.Would be an awsome fight though.
Anyway down to business. I actually made this paper a long time ago, but couldn't submit it because there was no crossover anime section. I tried to request one and when that failed, I decided to wait a while because alot of people have to suggest a crossover anime section in the gallery... NEVER HAPPENED. I couldn't let this paper go to waste not being submitted anywhere but in my opinion if it's not on animepaper it might as well be wasted.
I vectored both people as well as the rocks(took awhile) and then changed Toph's green sleeves to Brown to sort of make her look like she's form the Sand Village from Naruto. The BG was made from brushes.Used some grunge on the image for a bit of a tweek.
I really like the second version and was wanting to submit it but after while I thought the paper would be a bit more creative with the brown sleaves.

I see this one a long ago when you first submit it into SZ, I wasn´t sure about the idea, good thing you change the color of the girl´s clothes, now both (gaara and the girl fit better, so now I like it, it´s a good job, original^^

the only one I think could be a match for gaara is Crocodile from One piece since he's sand ...

My favorite versions of this wall is the one you submitted and the sort of black and white BG with Toph's sleeves green. But I think the one you submitted is better
Wow. Tht's so cool and nice looking. The character is so clean and nice. I like this wallpaper. I so wanna no how you did those mountains. And the rocks...yeah ...Rocks rite?! Well, they're really nice too. I like how you did those. Even though I wanna no how to do tht. It's nice.
Such cool effects and rocks. I noticed the landscape in the background, very nice touch. Not so sure I agree with the crossover idea but nevertheless it remains a fantastic wallaper.
I think Gaara would win, only because Toph is blind and she wouldn't be able to see him most of all when he uses his sand to levitate and attacks from the air. But hey everyone has their opinion.
Cool wallpaper, although I cant tell exactly whats going on in the wallpaper, is toph trapped or defending herself, etc. Really cool concept in my opinion, gaara would easily win for sure. Good job and keep up the excellent work! Definitely adding this wallpaper to my favorites for sure!

Now THAT would be a fight to see. I love the originality of this idea. I'm a fan of both series, and i would have never thought to pit them together in a battle. Nice job!
