This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I've always wanted to see Gaara and Toph fight to see whos better at using earth. I'm not going to get into who I say would win but if you want to know what I think you can pm me or leave a user comment on the site.Would be an awsome fight though.
Anyway down to business. I actually made this paper a long time ago, but couldn't submit it because there was no crossover anime section. I tried to request one and when that failed, I decided to wait a while because alot of people have to suggest a crossover anime section in the gallery... NEVER HAPPENED. I couldn't let this paper go to waste not being submitted anywhere but in my opinion if it's not on animepaper it might as well be wasted.
I vectored both people as well as the rocks(took awhile) and then changed Toph's green sleeves to Brown to sort of make her look like she's form the Sand Village from Naruto. The BG was made from brushes.Used some grunge on the image for a bit of a tweek.
I really like the second version and was wanting to submit it but after while I thought the paper would be a bit more creative with the brown sleaves.

I can't stand it, I just have to comment on this topic. If you recall the battle between Toph and the bald kid (hehe), it was revealed that she could only locate her opponents by sensing the vibrations on the ground. When bald kid flew, she was unable to sense him, which lead to her easy defeat. In case you didn't know, Gaara can use his sand to fly as well; which would result in a similar scenario. Another disadvantage is that Toph has trouble with using her senses in sand and it was either she could not bend sand or has trouble doing so, I can't remember. If you're still not convinced about the great difference in terms of power, then allow me to evaluate even more: Enhaced perception, ability to think of many many things in a split second (common among anime), Can summon Bunshin, Kawarimi, armor of sand, shield of sand, and has one of the 9 tailed demons inside of him. That was certainly a mouthful. I hope that clears things up!
