This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Inspired by the song "Bridge Over Troubled Waters".
Made this for the AP Elite vs The World Competition.
wasn't planning on anything bug and shining like the rest the of them competitors, since I wall by the mood I am in and the way I feel about the wall should be done most of the time, so sadly, this was the end result.
I personally loved this wallpaper, and during the time when I was in the making of it, I used it all day and all the time, like it was the best wall I ever made even tho it was so simple, I guess one can say I am just a simple kinda guy who loves textures.
I realized that I seem to got no vote tho, rofl at my failurez... For those who enjoy this, thank you!

Instead of relying on effects and fancy aspects, I think this wallpaper actually have a real concept here. There's no need for me to repeat this but the lighting is really quite awesome. The scan itself is a perfect match for your concept; the water is my favorite. Great work.
Never attempt to blow up a scan that is smaller than the actual resolution you're going to use it for.
I mean, this scan is good (and Tohou > all shoot'em up :D), but it really looks too blurry even though I know you did your best to fix that and make it look decent enough. I might end up walling this scan sooner or later (more later than sooner though lol). Btw who is she? All the Touhou girls are all similar and I've online played one Tohou game besides IaMP. >_<

Awesome wall! What a great dark atmosphere! . Great sc selection, so beautifull... the light effects, specially the colours in the light. The dark wall atmosphere, plus the white add, wich is the white skin of hers, creates an incredible impression. My new desktop wall XD

Hey buddy, you do what you do when it comes to walls. Just remember that. Also, It looks gloomy with the water, but every aspect of this wall is making the light bulb in my head on. I really like the flawless textures you use as usual, and that little shiny area that's is going to her hands really capture me at the moment. Not bad Omni, so let me give you a fav real quick and I'll be out.

one thing i can critique on...the brush you used by her hand...i dunno what the hell it's supposed to represent, but that aside, all the bits are the exact same size and rotation. the least youc oulda done was scatter the angle and size a bit : /

The water is my favorite part of the wallpaper, and i can't get over how good the water looks. i really give you props for making so many different versions of the wallpaper. good job and can't wait to see more
