This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
About 3 hours of work on this wallpaper. After abusing WhiteBlaze into finding me scans, he found me this one... which at first, I didn't want to wall but over time started wanting to. I liked the way the shadows were in the original scan, and I wanted to have them the same way if I made a wallpaper.
Not too much work, but I think it came out nice. More resolutions soon at Antique Faery Tales.
Holy crap, icon space!
EDIT: x_X... ew... wall looks crappy on bright screens. I might have to edit that.
What can I say Carmen 99 one bad ass hot babe xD Nice job on the lighting and show it works well and so does the text. Um my only complain is the simplicity xD But hey its hot and I am going to use it as my desktop! +fav

Like I said, I love the lighting. I'm a sucker for good shadowing and simplicity sooo... this is downright awesome. However, the shadowing near the bottom, above the light source, should be closer to the girls than the shadow near the top --- which you did perfectly. But it should also be clearer and more defined. As the shadow splays out wider across the top of the wall it will be blurrier and have less of a shape than the bottom. Right now, they're about the same amount of blur.
Other than that, cool stuff. ^^
By the way, what's with you and ecchi anymore, Brom Brom? =_=;; Seriously... too much for your eyes, youngin'. *hands a cookie* Go watch some Sesame Street.
What the...lol...interesting wall, it looks like they're going to be arrested by cops XD Wish there were more things in this wall =P The lighting is excellent, great job!
Nice image :D I really like the lighting on this one. The extraction could be just a tiny bit cleaner, though. I think it would have been nice if you extended the wall all the way until the edges of the wallpaper, so the wall won't look...I don't know, chopped? You could add another wall on the left side (with a different persepctive), so it would look like they're cornered.
But still, I love how simple and desktop-friendly this wallpaper is. :D Lots and lots of thanks for the icon space.
Hahhaha easy effective desktop wallpaper. icon space *_* ~!! haha hm...like the brick wall on the back. nice effective lightspot. hm....well...it's not bad =/ for me...it's just a little bit plain...like..there could be added at least 1 thing n_nV
