Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

I love this anime series (LAST EXILE). The walpaper is a mixture of an anime scan, stock photos, and various ships from the series. I used photoshop blending modes to create depth and cause some ships to appear to be flying through the transparent clouds. Also I change the color of the bg to accompany the character. All and all I think it is a great wall. Thanks for any helpful feedback.
It is a great wallpaper, I like the background colors and the scan, however the scan presents many rough edges due to a bad extraction, try softening up those edeges or extracting the scan again, also in the lower part of the scan around the last cannon there's a line that's really distracting and also ruins the beauty of the wall overall, try eliminating it, keep up the good work.
Actually, the character is niether from Blue Submarine No. 6 nor from Last Exile. It's a common mistake made about that particular image for some reason. ^^; It actually comes from a Japanese Saturn game Range Murata did the character designs for called Wachenroder.
Wow! There's certainly been a lot of Last Exile papers coming out, this is definitely not a bad thing since I loved the series!
A really nice wall, the colors are vivid and the framing is perfect. As mentioned in my other comments for other papers, I have a real appreciation for papers that don't overwhelm or camoflauge the desktop icons. Since I have 3 monitors I get to see a lot of whatever my current desktop is so i get bored real quick. I'll be quite happy to look at this one for a while! An instant hit and +fav for me. Great work :)
This is one incredible Last Exile wall. But as everyone said, barely anybody uses 800x600 resolution now, unless you're using a MAC. Even then, those new MAC machines uses larger resolution as they are now a graphics dominant over the PC. Next time when you do a great wallpaper, please do at least a 1280x960 resolution size, because that's what most people are using.
As said by so many above, this wall would be so hot if it was done on a larger resolution. Even 1024 x 768 would be better (though there are an increasing number of us going beyond that).
This is a nice start ^_^. Just a couple things I think you should have done better. The girl for one is a great choice however, she's very rough around the edges. Learn to make your cuts as clean as possible so as to not have any rough edges. The BG is nice, but is a bit grainy. The BG and the girl don't seem to fit together either. Kind of like those newb wallpaper's with quick brushing and slapping a scan on top. Take your time with all your wallpaper's. One more thing. I'd recommend making your wallpaper's bigger. Minimum is 800x600 but that's rare for someone to be using that resolution. Your best bet is 1024x768. However you'll gain more popularity if you go the whole 1600x1200 ;). I do like one thing about this wallpaper ^_^. You chose a very nice soft hue of orange which is one of my many favorite colors. Keep practicing.

the only thing and the most fatal mistake is ---- 800 x 600 this poor revolution

I just look at the thumbnail since you only have 800x600...could you come up with more resolutions. coz i think it's quite a nice wall. this is a very cheerful wall for last exile...that's y i like it. (usually the colours are less bright.)
hope that you can come up with more resolutions so i can have a better look at it.

Wow I really like the scan, don't think I've ever seen it before. Sadly, the resolution is just way too small... it should be at least 1024 X 768...at least
