After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Well, since my topic kept falling down to the bottom of Session Zero a few times, I decided to just cave and upload this thing. It has been many months since I have walled, and well over a year I believe since I uploaded anything here. I've fooled around with some mediocre, unfinished and failed walls over the course of the past year, and I just haven't found the time what with school and stuff.
This wall is part of my biggest obsession at the moment: the .hack franchise. Been a fan for a long time now, and I've seen/read/played nearly everything .hack available to me. This wall features three different images from .hack, and all four of the figures in this wall have significance to the situation going on on the right with Haseo holding Shino's character as she falls into a coma in real life. It began with just the Haseo and Shino image, but soon evolved into Ovan (glasses) being on the left, and then I just had to put my favorite character, Azure Kite, into the picture. That presented a big challenge, because the image that would work best was monochromatic. After a whole lot of coloring, lightening up his face, and overall tweaking, I was able to get it to work, finally. I really felt that the .hack//G.U. section needed a new wall, and I tried to do some of my best work here. Dunno if I succeeded, but I hope someone enjoys this, anyway. 8)
P.S.: No, I was not thinking of Moulin Rouge when I chose the "Come What May" title, but it's oddly ironic that Haseo and Shino were in very similar situations to the main characters of that movie, at least in this particular scene.
Well, my prediction was right, people didn't like the white space, so I uploaded a new version with some scenery at the bottom. I had this version saved for just this occasion, but it probably hasn't upped the quality of the wall at all. Oh well, I fail.

The background is looking interesting, the colors and patterns are looking good. The characters are looking good, they fit to the background well. Nice wallpaper.
I've been a huge fan of dothackgu, but triedge really looks amazing in this, the effect and coloring is eyecatching. The coloring makes it seem capturing. Great work!:D

Which beautiful bottom of screen, a little sad nevertheless, Shino will miss much in Haseo... and besides in Ovan (hack//Roots) I would never have believed that it could be thus, it was incredible for me, I still have shivers of them
I've been desperate for a good wall for .hack//GU but haven't seen any as of now! (well I haven't taken a good look at the others, but hell, yours is good!)
I do have to agree with the others about the bottom half of the paper. It is empty. While including a faint picture of (what is that Mac Anu?) some buildings, there's just nothing in the foreground.
If you've no ideas for what to put in the bottom half, you could always rearrange Haseo and Shino to be the focus and move Ovan and Kite some where around the sides. Or to fit more with what (Haseo thought had) happened (at the time), you could put Kite in a somewhat ominous position over Haseo and Shino. ::shrug::
