The idea is very good. I can see how this could turn out to be a good wallpaper, but first, you need to clean the scan a bit. The background could also be a more clear. The text is actually alright. The smaller text however, you need to get rid of the grainy stuff behind it. Otherwise, keep going!

I think a good effect would be to put the parts where the black lines go through eureka as colour to add more contrast. I also agree that the scan needs more cleaning up around the edges. I like your idea tho, good luck
