As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Ye mouton knows all ;) I am still a newbie with vectoring programs. In my journal is the progess so far for my Inkscape and AI project. The main difference I noticed so far is that in AI the pentool is editable at all times, in IS it is a different tool

Ctrl is useful when you want to control the angle of the vector. Shift is for asymmetric vector. You can combine the two also. One more thing, if you start an other path while pressing shift and that a former path is selected, the two will combined.

I only use ctrl for zooming, backspace I knew because it is the same in PS and AI. The shift and enter I didn't know, those are useful. I ended a path using right mouse on my last node

I wanted this one have a kinda Sci-fi feel to it, hence the color scheme and the almost moving sky look and etc. So it looks like it might be an advertisement poster for a Sci-fi channel mini-series event or something ^_^; (but I also wanted it to look pretty too, so there are flowers n_n) That's what I was going for anyway, an I think I pulled it off pretty well (>_> hope other people agree with me n_n;)

I can see scifi, but the best part is that it DOES look exactly like an advertisement for some scifi series. totally agree. nice work.

I was just coming to comment this! I really like it! the whole scheme you've got going on here. I think your bg colors could be a bit more toned down, but that would disagree with the sci fi thing you've got going on, so therefore, it's great.

Colors scheme good. advertisement, yes but a cheap one like you'd see for a made for tv movie or soon to be offed miniseries.

I like the concept, but since you are using the Xeno game models for the animation it does not work, would have been much better if you had used anime-style model sheets. And some of the extractions aren't too great. too cut and paste.

Overall its a decent wall.

Well, I have to say that Stullz really have a point here. The concept is nice done and it was a really nice idea to make a advertisment for this show. But I really have to say that the pics of the game doesn't work so good with the scene you would like to create. I think it would work better with the character pics of the Anime Show.

The other fact is that I think that the background doesn't work with the theme. Don't get me wrong, the idea is really interesting but I think that the colours in the back doesn't match with the hole wall. Also I think that the background is a bit crowded.

It does look like it is an advertising poster. ^^ The quality of the scan of the girl with the closed eyes kinda contradicts with the rest, but it's not that big of a problem.

The people standing in the wall look very cool & appropriate but the only which i think is wrong here, is the background. i mean the pink style just doesnt go with the sci-fic idea. i think a more darker background would have looked more cool.
other than that, you have done a good work:)
