This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Nah, I don't want new ones I need these ones to break in more. But my left thumb is really hurting right where the knuckle is >.< I guess I have some bad habits on my left hand.
I am busy with school work now, so I doubt I'll be able to make any more wallpapers for awhile. Here is an Air wallpaper I made a few weeks ago.
The scan is here. The background is based on the photo from here. I basically tried to recreate the scene at the end of Minagi's arc. My favorite part was redrawing the scan of Minagi because it was so detailed and pretty, I ended up changing the colors completely to make it fit with the sunset background.
Lovely vector and great clarity and uniformity on the fencing. Like the others have said, perhaps scale the size of the fence down a bit so it looks like it did in the anime scene originally. However, I feel it just lacks something. Perhaps a texture on the floor. The sky, although beautiful, could do with a little bit more detail. Maybe more feathers, I don't know. But other than that, a very good wallpaper. Absolutely cannot fault the vector. Great work!
Beautiful, I also agree that the size of the fence links are a little out of proportion, but its a nice piece of vector work and it captures the emotion of that heartbreaking scene!
Very very purple. :)
But I like how sharp wall looks. The Text is quite large, but doesn't hurt.
The Fence is LARGE !!! It screams, Farewell to a Miracle. :)

I agree with them, the chains are kind of big for the scan...
i also think the street looks a little flat..
in general its great! nice vector and evrything... the background is also great, like the lights... the idea is pretty good!
keep it up!
nice job!*:)
It's Beautiful Background. Effect in Purple Sky is Excellent.
What She is Waiting is Purple Rain. Purple Color in This Wallpaper is not Gloomy. Thanks for Your Work.
I saw Air in its entirety more than a year ago and I remember Minagi's arc very well...and how it ended. Love the lavander color sky. Minagi herself could be a bit bigger, because I feel that the fence looks gigantic compared to her, but its still very beautiful.
Wow, nice work.
Nice vector, and I love the purple sky ^^
Well, my only grip is pretty much the same with everyone, the fence is gigantic...
Other than that, it is a very beautiful wall^^
Wow, I never would have guessed, that this was the image from that DVD cover. Turned out really great, I love the colours you used for it. One of my favourite parts of the series is the end of Minagi's arc and yu did a wonderfull job recreating it. Be looking forward to your next project!
