This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
As far as i know : i never advertised Pixie's grand opening ;) so here i go :

The scan actually caught my eye ... I immediately wanted to wall it even though i'm not usually fond of this kind of scans especially when they portray women ...
But i think no one will say this scan is crappy because it certainly isn't ...
As for the wall itself :
I re-cged the girl (erased the blue flowers / text and re-draw part of the hair and hand )
I vectored and re-cged the dragon (with the mouse o.O ) from this scan : http://www.animepaper.net/gallery/scans/Ikki-Tousen/item108927/
It was quite painful XD ... especially when i realized that most of the parts i had redrawn of the scan weren't seen on the wall -_-' well ... it will make a good scan (i'll post it later )
I made a simple background ... because i wanted the focus to be the dragon and the girl :p
Note : i don't know Ikkitousen nor do i know the girl ... and i don't mind if the wall doesn't suit the show or character ;)
Whoa, what can I say other than that this wallpaper is HOT. Kanu is one of my all-time favourite characters as far as looks goes. The original scan of her alone was enough to make me go ga-ga, but the addition of the dragon tattoo onto her body was absolutely inspired. Keep up the amazing work!
*drool* that anime was like 2 hits and the cloths just flew off lol...really like this i remember this image from the open credits or was it the closing hmm? but nakedness is always welcome aslong as it female nakedness :)
You couldn't have dedicated a better wall to me.. .This one is so...depravated . You really did a great job here and you showed us one more time how obvious your designer skills are. This one will fill my screens until you change it you change it yourself (go NB)
Anyway, I'll try to say what the papers looking dudes forgot to say : You have such a gift! I actually saw all your walls and I think the 9th rank doesn't fit you at all! You deserve better!!

Dear God! O_O This is what we would call WINNAR I believe. The image of Kanu and the dragon on her body is just pure awsomeness! The background is cool too, no unnecessary text or texture, perfect mix of colours. I love it, this is definetly a favourite and will probably end up being my desktop wallpaper one of these days. Perfect job, thank you for making this!

You did the wallpaper, but now, you have to watch the anime! I have the anime on my hard drive but it looks horrible and too much ecchi. I'm not freak about this kind of anime... So for talking about the wallpaper everything is great, I really like the tatoo idea. You deserve a favorite :D (it's not a surprise ^^).
