After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Been meaning to finish this for AAAAAGES. Finally got around to making something adequate.
Didn't try anything fancy, no gimmicks, just a plain and simply scenic wall that is aesthetically pleasing on the eye (hopefully), just to get back into the swing of things.
Mmm i don't think that the background is working... it looks rather realistic and it doesn't match with the vector style..
also the closest rock/hill looks strange with that outline that looks as a stroke.. i would get rid of it or change it's color...
anyway nice vector ^_^
I think the only problem of this wallpaper is that the vector looks too jaggy in a few parts, and the fact the outlines are probably too thick for that kind of background, which is why there seems to be an unpleasing contrast between the vector and the background. But colour-wise, lightning-wise, it's pretty good and I don't mind having the background that simple, it's a desktop wallpaper afterall, and Yoko is the focal point of the composition anyway. But it's still a nice job anyway.
And you might want to credit the original artists who did that artwork of Yoko, because that is not official art by any of Gainax's animators/artists (all their official artworks are HERE), but it's rather a doujin/fanart of Yoko (well done, but still fanart).
The vector looks great, but there's something off about the background. I think it's supposed to look like she's standing on a cliff, but I don't think you really captured that. Maybe that's not what it's supposed to be and I'm just stupid, but there's definantly something off about that textured part there.

Well it's view is the main atractive of this one, i think that would have be better to cover it with somo other layers to make it look really great and Yoko would filled all the inconvenients of any matter.
After all you try your best always and i think that's good m'boy. And i wait for future gurren-lagaan wallpapers, just love the series!!!.

If the BG was stock, the thick outlines on Yoko would be weird, but since the BG is also vector everything looks just fine to me! I'm going to fave it just because its Gurren Lagann AND it features Yoko! The lighting is awesome and ... she's leaning over. :x Nice one man!
Most definitely pleasing to the eye, the bg and char blend well together! I also am a fan of these scenic wallpapers so this is really awesome! Great work, hope ya get 'back into the swing of things' soon! lol
Nice Gurren Lagann wall! I agree with ShiNN about the jaggyness of the lines and about the thickness. Perhaps you could smooth them out a bit. I really like the sky and colors but the nearest rock in the back is kinda weird. But it's a great job you did there!
