As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. 4th wall for me!
Tsukihime this time! Many might not recognize the character depicted in this one, its Akiha Tohno(sister of the main char.)
This time I went mostly with image editing. The picture was ready but with terrible quality(300kb o_0) so I took it and tried fixing it. Honeslty I'm not very happy with the result, I could've done better if not for my lack of knowledge. After the image editing I put some sprakly brushes on the ground and there you have it.
The brushes used were:
"Shiny Little Brushes" taken from Deviantart
I'm not expecting anything from this, but if you like it at least please write a few words about it ^^'

This is a nice wall. However, the ground could've used some texture. It just looks like a bottomless void with flowers floating on top. Also, the ground doesn't reflect the sky like it should so we have a weird contrast going on.

I think you did a good job cleaning up Akiha. Very nice wall overall.

Hm...the first form the Greek team (lol). You know i really love the way you present your wallpapers and i surely love this one.
I enjoy the perspection, the colour combination and last but not least i love the feeling of movement i get...

As you felt, the quality is not the best... however the idea is certainly there.

The overall feel is just fine. Excellent color choice and general organization. This is definitely a concept I would like to see you try again in the future. Perhaps one of those one year later comparisons could prove very interesting. :)

Though you say you're not really satisfied with the result, I like your wall very much! Especially the colors you used, the contrast and the softness on the sky... And the effect on the water is really cool... You should be more confident about your work :)

It's not too bad imo. I can recognize Akiha from the small thumbnail on the homepage. The atmosphere and the background is built alright, but a sharper image would be better : )

I like it ^_^ you didn't do such a bad job, it is cleaned =]. It's definately eye-catching, this is the first wallpaper I noticed when I started to scroll down. It just caught my attention ^_^. Very nice wallpaper.
