This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This wall is also for the group AIR...

I know I'm not that good and I still have a long way but please comment and answer these few of questions~!:
1. Do you get somewhat of a summer feeling? If not what background should I use? (Can't find any scenes on the comp. or pictures that I took)
2. Exactly what on photoshop (tell steps) can I do to make it better?
3. Do you think it is good enough so if I submit it, that they will accept it? If not why?
well first of all the birds are not matching.. why?.. well because they look like taken from a picture and the scans are not.. in fact i think they are vectors... did you use the scan of ghost?.. well.. if you did.. About the clouds.. i would add more clouds cause those girls look as if they were gonna fall from there..
And get rid of the animal near the text and the top-right side of the wallie.. cause it doesn't make sense seing it there flying xD

I like your wallpaper, it's really cute. The idea is good too! It's a nice picture of the sky you took. I do like how you positioned the girls to sit on the clouds.
But I don't think it fits very well, because the birds, dinosaurs and girls look different. Like the birds and dinosaurs look realistic (photos) while the girls are vectors. I think it'd look better if they looked more similar. The birds are kind of random too, and I don't like how they're so big.
Hey i'm glad you like my avatar!! ^_^ i think i have to agree with some of the comments posted before...if everything was the same composition i think it would look much better, like all anime looking ^_^;; sorry to be a bummer but i hope this helps a little...

ok..the wall you made...im my opnion, i think you should not use stock photo as the background and you can try brushes or vector instead.
if you are still a beginner...you can go for cloud brushes.
just like the links clarings gave you.
ok...i think you can also remove the dinosaur...(is it there...the small animal thing?) because i think that it is not suitable to be in that wall.
think you can improve on extracting again.
anyway, you can explore and develop your own way instead of sticking on tutorials...XD

Hey~ Here to comment... Sorry about posting this only now. I was thinking maybe you can try changing the background of it? and perhaps get rid of the animals and also, I'm not very sure on how should you improve the graphics to make it look real but do change that =D and good luck :P in creating a new wall =)

and download some clouds brushes... then upload them on PS and work with them..

the chibis looked so cute...but i agree with inuyashalovergyal1...it would be better if the clouds, birds and dinosaurs are anime too...
