This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This will be my 7th paper. Basically no work involved, just alitte effort. I was bored and decided to make this paper. Took under an hour to make and has about 15 layers. I just thought it would be different to make a purple wall, plus it goes with Yoruichi's hair so dont forget to comment and fav if you like it.
ENJOY!
Very nice!
I like the purple background, and the butterfly pattern...
Anyway thanks, and i hope, you make a lot wallpapers from Yoruichi in the future...
Keep up the good work! :D
I love Yoruichi so much! This has got to be by far one of my favorites! The colors are amazing! I'd like to see a 1900 x 1200 resolution, so I can use it as my wall! :3
Since she had almost no part in the filler episodes of the anime, people really haven't been making any Yoruichi wallpapers anymore. To see one is a refreshing change, as it's sort of a sign of the times, that the filler is over and we've moved on to greener pastures. Keep up the good work!
nice wallpaper! the color matches and everything looks great! it is a really nice job you've done!
Awesome job. Great design for the image, with a really well executed color scheme.
+fav for sure :
I enjoy the color scheme, purple is the best color ever. It's nice to see a wallpaper just focusing on Yoruichi. The image you chose of her is awesome too.
Stylistically similar to your "Undercover Shinigami" wall, this piece makes excellent use of the background to highlight the inherent dichotomy of Yoruichi's character. The darker spatters at the bottom brings out her hardness and fighting strength, while the paler butterfly and floral motifs recall her softer humour and whimsy.
As for the scan itself, it took me a while to figure out why it seemed slightly off. Did something happen to her ponytail, or was it simply not visible from the original scan? Its absence distracts a bit from the piece as a whole.
The mod stylization and use of purple monochrome are effective. The wall has a very vibrant feeling, in spite of the mostly dark palette.
