After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
I actually did my first vector last week. I found out I enjoy painting more. Thats what im working on right now is painting something for a wall I have in the works.

No, no, you can't put links directly from your folders on your computer. You have to upload your content to a image hosting site like ImageShack or Photobucket. Then provide the link.

Hi!!... This was my entry fot the Mascot challenge at PV, and we WON! VIVA EL EVI!!
ohh and.. it's my first entry as a Senior member *dances around*
The girl (makoto) and cat (piro) were vectored from this scan "Clicky Here"
I wanted to put her on an outside scene so i created the sky, grass and mountains, No scans were used for that so it's my own original scene lol
The vectors were made on illustrator. It wasen't easy to vector her cause some parts of her hair and legs here covered by the text and little pictures and the lower part was pretty dark.. so i coundn't see well what i was doing lol.. The clouds and mountains were painted on Photoshop with my mouse, Yes a MOUSE!, so that was tedious.
I used the basic round brush to make them.
and this is a sample of the vectors... (there is no sample for the painted clouds and hills cause i forgot to take the screenshots >_> )
Time: more than 2 weeks (cause after i uploaded it for the challenge i made some changes on the hills)
Layers: a lot.. i lost count >_<

i disagree about the grass...i think it suits this style of vector
its different to normal
the only thing i think does not suit the overall wallpaper are the cloud shapes...maybe you should of made than more sharp and not as smydgy

But on the second look I really felt in love with the sky and the clouds.
If you'd know me better, You would now, I'm a hobby-photograph and love to shoot skies. ^^
If I was a cute girl I really could use this wall with np. And Lol, It's Kanon XD
What can I say... The sharpness (by the freaking rez) is so well that I could use this wall just for it. The colors are vivid, and the contrast between her hair and the rest of all is charming. I loved that kitty btw...

it's a lovely vector, with some beautiful sunflowers and nice mountains. i'd have liked to see the clouds more smudged though, just because that would have made them as smooth as the rest of the wall. the grass also bugs me, since they look round rather than flat. with the use of samller strips within a larger one for the vectoring of grass, you should get detail, the fibrous texture of grass, the correct lighting, but also a sense of flatness. ;P keep working on it!
and... congrats on your promotion! see, what did i tell you that time after we both turned community wallers? xD you are an awesome waller!

:O NICE :) great job on the detailed vector Clar its looks preety darn good and since Kanon ROCKS! it makes me love it even more, I still think your clouds and etc. could have more definition. and Perhaps if you want to spend to time the grass could be highlighted more. None the less nice work, i know it must have taken some time hehe.
