This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

    Hrm... I think the black bars are a bit thick in this picture. The scan looks pretty cool though. =P

    Is good for a first wallpaper the scan is good but i have to say the bars need to be more wide to see the scan more and it will look great well good luck

    My opinion is the clouds are kinda too real...I might suggest you Change the font style of "The Melancholy Of Suzumiya Haruhi". The underline of the text is kinda unique though... Just like ~pengerwin said, Reduce the black bars thickness too.

    I also agree that the black lines are too big, they're detracting from the image, I'd really recommend making them smaller.

    The font on "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" just doesn't match the other fonts you're using and looks very out of place. I'd go with one more similar in design/style to the ones you use at the top for it.

    I really like that underline effect though, I'd definitely keep it no matter what font you use! <3 emoticon

    Very good quality scan, and I like the sky, but maybe make the blue a little purplish to go with the character better. ^^ Also - that grass doesn't live up to the rest of the paper - add some more depth to it with more colour - like shadows & darker greens, etc.
    I'd cut the height of the black bars in 1/2 - then it would be the perfect height.
    Good luck with the wall - it has a lot of potential! ^_^

    Black border is a bit thick...
    I'd change the subtitle to read "涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱" myself, since the current one doesn't quite match in my opinion.

    Other than that, I hope you finish this one! Looking forward to it.
